Cutest Grad I know!

Happy graduation to the cutest graduate I know!
I am so proud of the man that you have become and can not wait to see what the future holds for you!

Thursday morning I took the metro to the airport for a quick trip home for my brother's graduation. (Look at me conquering the metro. I am such a local...) Anyway when I landed I called my mom just to make sure she knew I had landed. I called the house oh, maybe about 7 times and her cell phone about 5 times with no answer. I thought either she is at the airport and forgot her phone at home, which would not be surprising at all, or she is frolicking around town getting ready for my brother's graduation party and forgot about me. Yep should have guessed, it was the latter. I then called my brother and he tells me that they are in yard working. I am so glad I am such a high priority for my family. I was thinking that I would be getting warm embraces from all around upon my arrival.

But as soon as I got home it was party time. Well, really party setting up time in the 100 degree weather. My brother and two of his best buds were having a tailgate themed graduation party in the cul de sac in our neighborhood, including a live band and the burger man. How fun! It was themed "Texa-bama" because one is going to Alabama, one to A&M, and Willie boy to Texas. Oh my mother and her cleverness. So after hours in the sun and hopefully a little sun for my white, albino skin my joints were swollen and it was set up!

The party was a hit! But I think the hit of the party was not the band, or the burger man, but my mammaw dancing to the band. She even was trying to teach one of my brother's friends how to dance...what a hoot she is!
Fun-nest cousins around! (We get it from our momma's)

Friday was graduation day! After graduation we went to Babe's Chicken house for some good ol' fried chicken.
(mammaw and her grandchildren, minus Katie)

My grandparents and aunt and uncle from Arkansas made the trip from Arkansas for the weekend and stayed at my house. So we were all together, including my cousins from Frisco, for the party and graduation. The weekend could not have been more fun and I am so glad I got to go home to spend this special time with my brother. My favorite times are when we are all hanging out together.

My one and only time to say this... "Hook 'em Horns!"

And so on,
Elizabeth
