Welp, I am home and documenting my Washington adventures was a total and utter FLOP. I also realized that is towards the end of July and I am just now posting these pictures. Please accept my apologies.
So do I want to become a senator of the United States one day, eh probably definitely not. But did I have the time of my life, absolutely! I could talk about Washington for days without turning down my smile. So I hope these pictures will suffice. These are some of my favorite pictures of the trip and of what we did (and even in that area I failed too. If I took pictures, they were on my iphone).
We twalked the monuments. Hey Abe!
We celebrated my 21st birthday! Thank you em, for celebrating with me! We went to Martin's Tavern in Georgetown, where Jackie Kennedy was proposed to.
We were frequent visitors at Serendipity in Georgetown. No cowards portion for us.
We mastered the metro. Hating the weekend because of the stand still on the left side of the escalator...life of a L (local).
We walked the Potomac River in the evenings.
We went to the Nationals Game.
We had fun at work. These guys are the best, and are a huge part of what made my summer so fabulous! (There were a total of 12 of us that worked together).
We ate at the best chicken salad place religiously in Union Station.
We went to mimosa brunches.
We layed out on our roof. Rough day at work, just trying to take the edge off on our roof top.
We went to museums. The classiest couple I wish I knew.
We got to eat lunch with the Senator.
We got to hang out in the capital every day. If I were to pick favorites, these guys would be them.
And I got to hang out with these two goof balls.
Washington D.C. is intoxicating. It sucks you in and I did not want to leave. But now I am home and it is on to my next adventure, my senior year and moving into my house in Norman!
And so on,
Elizabeth
Psh, your next adventure isn't your senior year...AR BAYBAY
