Cultural Diversity

Last night we got to go to the Miranda Lambert, female vocalist of the year, in concert! She came here to Norman and performed at the Lloyd Noble Center. I think it may have brought out all the crazies of Norman, but it was fun! Plus we had pretty good seats which just makes it all better. Oh hey, Miranda!

I went from a southern country concert on Thursday night to learning about cultures from all around the world on Friday night at the Eve of Nations. Cultural diversity at its finest.

The International Advisory Community at OU hosted its 41st Annual Eve of Nations Illuminate. It was a night of recognition of both international unity and cultural diversity at The University of Oklahoma. It was a formal sit down meal with performances from 29 international student groups. All the performances captured the culture of their particular country. They took us around the world without having to even leaving our front row seats! From country concerts to cultural dances, I am feeling very cultured right now.

And so on,
Elizabeth
