Vera Bradley Posse

My little brother, well not so little anymore, is a senior in high school this year. So you know what that means...college visits! Oh what it would be like to be a child again...

Lucky for him he has been gifted with a brain. Not just any brain but a brilliant brain, meaning he is getting to visit some pretty neat schools. Around Christmas time he got a foam finger from Baylor and a laptop computer case from Auburn. Where were they when I was a senior in school? So this weekend he, my mom, grandmother, and aunt are heading to Tennessee and Alabama to visit Vanderbilt and Auburn University. Or should I say he and his "Vera Bradley Posse." It will be nothing short of an eventful weekend with those three women. Who can I compare my family to? I would say a combination between Everybody Loves Raymond and Claire and Phil from Modern Family. Yes, yes, now you are picturing what it is like...Never a dull moment that is for sure.
At 5:30 in the morning ready to go!

But being the wonderful daughter that I am I have sacrificed myself for the happiness of the family and offered to stay at home with the dog. (The real reason could possibly be that I have school on Monday and two tests to study for. But for the happiness of the family just sounds better). It will be me, the dog, my books, and the house.

So far it has been pretty uneventful other than having to give Maxie some pain medication. He got his hair cut Thursday and while they were grooming him nicked his tail. When he started howling for the whole world to hear this morning I figured he must be in pain. But I doctored him right up and he is as good as new, for the time being.
(Probably a little loopy from his pain meds.) But is he not the cutest puppy you have ever seen!

And so on,
Elizabeth
