home SWEET home

What goes better with a movie, well other than popcorn, than a homemade sundae?! Nothing. While continuing on our Oscar kick my mom and I decided we needed a little treat to compliment the movie. A little sweet treat makes for a perfect Friday evening!

So how do you make this mouthwatering sundae? Just let me tell ya!

1. Go to the grocery store and get your favorite sundae ingredients. Our's were Bluebell french vanilla icecream (it is richer than homemade vanilla), pecans, bananas, whip cream, and of course the hot fudge!
2. Get cute sundae glasses! (I am sure you can find these around your house somewhere. If you do not have sundae dishes than a plain drinking glass will do the trick). Having a fun dish to eat your sundae out of is half the fun!
3. Cut up your banana and warm the hot fudge in the microwave.
4. Put a scoop and a half of ice cream at the bottom of your dish, then a few slivers of bananas, the hot fudge, and then a few crushed pecans. Repeat this several time until you have made it to the top of your dish. You can put as little or as much of any ingredient you want!
5. When you get to to the top spray the whip cream and drizzle a little more hot fudge on the top. Stick a Milano cookie on top and voila!

This is a perfect sweet treat rather it be for a mom and daughter evening or a girls night with all your friends. Enjoy and do not think about those calories until the morning!

And so on,
Elizabeth
