Herbert, My Valentine

I am not going to lie I love Valentine's Day. I do not know why? Maybe it's because it is just another fun holiday or maybe because the atmosphere is all about love. I do not know why it is but I simply plain out love it. Just call me cupid! I love the colors (not that I am some obsessively pink girly girl or anything, I love all the candies, I love the the flowers, and I love the romantic gestures. Let's face it I am a hopeless romantic. Come to think of it now, Valentine's Day might just one of my favorite holidays! And guess who might just have herself a Valentine this year...hey hey hey, that would be me! Okay I am only kidding, partially. Today when I was at my internship this lady brought a rose over to my desk and says, look you got flowers. I just about passed out in my chair...I got flowers? That just made me laugh out loud to myself right now rethinking about it. Apparently a retired senator for Oklahoma named Herbert still sends Valentine roses to every lady in the Senate Office at the Capital. Hey, I am not picky I will take what I can get!

So this year my dear friend, or never before met friend, Herbert is my Valentine!
